Truecrypt password propmt only, no admin prompt. Ubuntu

I have been using Truecrypt for encryption. It always asks for the password to decrypt a drive, plus the admin password for the computer. I only want to enter the Truecrypt password to decrypt,  so the solution I found was in the Ubuntu forums.

First thing had to do was add a line to the /etc/sudoers file. I used

$sudo visudo

add this line to /etc/sudoers

# Users in the truecrypt group are allowed to run TrueCrypt as root.
%truecrypt ALL=(root) NOPASSWD:/usr/bin/truecrypt

Then  I added  a group called truecrypt

$sudo addgroup truecrypt

than I added myself to the group

$sudo usermod -a -G truecrypt username

After this was done I did a reboot to get it work.

Sorry was not trying to spam!

I was trying to use to push my Blogger post to this blog. Didn’t expect it to repost again and again. I was not trying to spam people, so I am sorry for the this mistake.

I have been watching the ashow (if you have not seen it you should check it out) with enthusiasm. The different missions on the ashow have got me excited to create and participate. When the Hanko Stamp project was mentioned in the "NEN" video,  I had to jump in.  It dogged me for a few days, the eraser  was very different to cut then lino block or wood block. The material flexes so much I kept cutting across the lines of my design. The designs I first came up with were too detailed  and a bit wonky.  I finally settled on one that incorporates my initials and the head of a robot.
Not a perfect icon but as a first try, I am happy with it. This stirred  the memories of design classes taken in the mid 90's. To encapsulate the image in a 1"x1" square and to find a tightly conceived design was a swing in my thought process. The last time I worked with something with such tight constraints  was in color theory. Working with Joseph Albers concepts will make you see color very differently.   I will  try more rubber stamps and attempt to make the design  even tighter. Hopefully, I will further my skill with the medium, it was a fun exercise in composition and design.

Can't sync "server.key": access denied Linux Mint Dropbox

I had an odd error with Dropbox in Mint it was returning, "Can't sync "server.key": access denied I Googled it a few different ways nothing turned up. I reinstalled twice, still nothing. Running dropbox status in a terminal kept returning Can't sync "server.key": access denied .
Then finally I checked my Dropbox account on-line. I looked at my linked computers, I must have reached my max limit of linked computers. Plus I had a lot of duplicate named computers which was quite a few installs going back to 2009. All of that distro hopping caught up with me : ) So I unlinked all of the installs that were no longer relevant and they sync error went away.
